OS version requirements of APSSM and the final screen saver?
A: The software and the
making screen saver both can support MS Win 98/ME/2000/XP. But they are not
compatible with Win 95 or Win NT. If you want to run this software in Win NT,
you need to copy a file "msimg32.dll" from a Win 98 system directory
to the Win NT system directory. Then try to run the program, it may work fine or
not.
2 Q: What function limit if using a trial
version?
A: When building the final screen saver, the prgram will only
package up to 7 images during the trial version. There is no function limit
after purchasing a full license version.
3 Q: How can I modify the parameters of the
final installed screen saver?
A: Click right button at Windows desktop, through
"Properties" > "Screen savers" >
"Setting", you can redefine the parameters and functions.
4 Q: How can I install the final screen saver
to other PC or to the screen saver control panel?
A: Run the self-install final screen saver, click the button
"Install", the program will automatically install it as Windows
default screen saver.
5 Q: I don't like to see the button tooltips,
can they be hidden?
A: Deselect the item "Show Tooltips" from the
"Wizard" menu will be OK.
7 Q: When I start the program, it keeps giving
me some error prompt, why?
A: Please delete the file "apssm.ini" in the
program's working directory and try to start the program again.
8 Q: It seems that some effect is very slow,
why?
A: Because some effects need much operation, it depends on
your computer speed. For example, "Mask" and transparent effect are
slow. We recommend you not select these effects if your CPU speed is less than
1.0 GHz.
9 Q: Can I distribute and share the final
making screen saver on the web freely?
A: Yes, 100% free, no hidden costs.
